In an effort to make our campus websites accessible to all visitors, web teams from University Relations and ITS have begun to test WCMS websites with a tool provided to us by UCOP (UC Office of the President) called Siteimprove.

Over the coming months, we will make Siteimprove accessibility reports available to website owners. Before we do, we are identifying and fixing accessibility issues that originate in the global WCMS templates. The first issue we will fix has to do with the way links appear in the main body of pages on WCMS websites.

Accessibility guidelines require that they are easily differentiated from the surrounding text. To resolve the issue, we will add a colored bottom border to links in the main body of all WCMS pages.
